Scent Detection Festive Fun Day

Service Description

Scent/Disc Detection FESTIVE FUN DAY Join us for a festive day of scentwork! Come win some ribbons and snag some prizes for you and your pooch. There will be a fun scent competition on the day- nothing serious, but I know dog people like to win ribbons! These sessions will involve real searches in a wide variety of terrains and surfaces. Woods, trails, open spaces, water, urban- we have it all. The location will allow for some absolutely fantastic hides to challenge all participants. The venue has toilets and a coffee shop nearby for tea breaks (and potentially cake..!) This is the perfect opportunity to sharpen your skills and train with other handlers who have similar goals. Take what you've learned so far and bring it out into the real world. You can train for whatever Disc Detection level you are currently working towards. Whether you're just starting out, or you've been sniffing for years, you are more than welcome! The session will run from 11am-3pm, but can run for longer or shorter depending on amount of teams. You can be at any level in your scentwork journey, hides will be set according to the dog's size and ability. You don't need to have done Disc Detection before, OR have a finished trained final response; if your dog is trained on CLOVE then you are welcome. Feel free to pop me a message on Facebook/Instagram or via email (skyboundk9training@gmail.com) if you have any questions relating to the day! Session will be held at Centre Park Square, Warrington.
