Once you have graduated the Foundations course, you will be added to the Skybound Whatsapp group and be able to chat with your fellow Trail Hunters. You will have access to upcoming club days, training sessions, Trail Hunt Games days, and have the opportunity to attend workshops in exciting and varied locations. You can also record your achievements and earn titles through a Trail Hunt International membership! More info can be requested from your instructor. ------ The course takes place over 2 days. Saturday 26th April 11am - 3pm Saturday 3rd May 11am- 3pm The workshops run for 4 hours, and lunch is provided halfway through! Please let me know at booking if you have any dietary requirements. Small practice exercises will be given in between workshops in order for you to be able to carry on with the training at home. Certificates will be given at the end of day 2. YOU WILL NEED: -A comfortable harness -A long-line (I have spares just in case) -LOTS of treats. Something you can break into small pieces is best. Ham, chicken, and cheese are all good. You will need more treats than you think! -Water for you and your dog -Suitable footwear for mud and long grass -Waterproofs if needed- the session will go ahead unless there is a severe weather warning so come prepared! OPTIONAL: -A settle mat for your dog for the lunch break PLEASE NOTE: This activity IS suitable for dogs with anxiety, fearfulness, reactivity, and other behavioural issues. Dogs with complex needs are extremely welcome. However as this Foundations Course is a class structure and also held in a public park, there is a chance that dogs may approach without warning. If this is a problem for you or your dog then never fear! There is also an option on my booking page for a 1-1 course to allow your dog the freedom to learn Trail Hunt in a single-dog setting.
