Made from reflective open-weave Aluminet fabric, this coat is designed to help reduce heat from direct sunlight while still allowing air to flow freely through the material. Unlike heavy cooling coats that can trap warmth once they dry out, the open weave helps your dog stay ventilated while the reflective surface bounces sunlight away from the body.
 
The coat is shaped with curved edges to sit neatly against your dog’s body, making it a great choice for active dogs who still want to move, sniff, train, explore and lounge in comfort. It is lightweight, breathable and easy to pop on when the sun comes out.
In our testing, dogs wearing the Aluminet Shade Coat showed fur temperatures up to 10°C cooler compared with uncovered fur in direct sunlight.

TO ORDER: Please provide the length in CM or inches of your dog's back- from the base of the neck (where the shoulders join the neck) to the base of their tail. Please also measure AROUND the widest part of their neck, just above the shoulders.
 
This coat is designed to be LOOSE! The aim is to avoid compressing the fur underneath to prevent it trapping heat. Air should flow freely through the coat. The coat will curve around their hind end providing shade for the haunches & sensitive areas. By purchasing this coat you are agreeing to a loose fit.
